Sustainability has become increasingly important in recent years and this trend will not diminish for some time. Consumers are increasingly aware that their choices have an impact on the earth. Vivant is happy to contribute to this!
We do this by looking closely at the compositions, reusability, recycling & upcycling of materials. Detailed information on this can be found in the blog: 'Vivant not only gold but also green | Sustainable packaging'.
How do you recognise a sustainable Vivant product?
To make it easier to perceive which items within the collections meet the above requirements, they are provided with a logo. We use a 'Green' or 'Cotton' logo for this purpose.
Which products get a Green designation?
Items with the following features are marked with a Green logo:
- The product consists of raw/environmentally friendly materials, such as: Paper, jute, wood, plaster, hemp, cork etc. The Green logo can be found, for example, at Honeycomb paper, Juco cord, Leavente decoration, Fosilco decoration, Polished hemp cord and Corko ribbon.
- The product comes from nature (such as: shells, straw, etc.) and is made into a new decorative item by Vivant. The Green logo can be found for example at Kuori ornament, Oyster ornament and Straw ornament.
- The product consists of recycled materials. The Green logo can be found, for example, at Recycled silk ribbon, Recycled silk fibre balls, Re-use cord, Cottange– and Melange cord.
Which products get a Cotton designation?
All items that have a composition of 100% cotton can be identified by a Cotton logo. These can be ribbons, for example Bior ribbon or Leavente ribbon. But you may also come across this with cords, ornaments and other decorations, such as: Macramé cotton cord, Cotton feather ornament and Cotton deluxe flat bags.
